GOOD NEWS

If you’ve been born-again, your spirit has been sealed with the Holy Spirit…it will NEVER be corrupted by sin again. It’s been eternally protected and preserved. In actuality, it CAN’T sin! (1 John 3:9)

“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” (Eph 1:13-14)

The Holy Spirit indwelling the believer is God’s down payment on what He’s purchased. It is God’s way of promising or guaranteeing that He’ll save the WHOLE man…spirit, soul and body!

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil 1:6)

FAITH IS THE KEY
Faith begins when the will of God is known. God’s Word is His will, and faith comes by hearing the Word (Rom 10:17).
Therefore, it is impossible for a prayer to be prayed in faith without the knowledge of God’s will concerning the matter. This eliminates the “if it be Your will” approach to God. That prayer can’t be prayed in faith because of a lack of knowledge (Hos 4:6).
This uncertainty gives place to doubt and unbelief. Faith only works when doubt and unbelief are eliminated (Rom 4:21).

Choose to sow God’s Word into your heart by SPEAKING it. Do it every day. Multiple times a day. Do it until it is engrafted into every fiber of your being. To where it abides in you (John 15:7). THEN you’ll have the faith that moves mountains (Mark 11:23)!
ARE YOU OPERATING IN FAITH?
So many times, people claim to have faith, yet the promises of God aren’t evidenced in their lives. They pass off their lack of receiving the promises of God’s word as “God’s will” for them, when in fact it’s unbelief that’s limiting their ability to receive.
The truth is, only when you know what God’s will is for your situation can you operate in true Bible faith. GOD’S WORD IS HIS WILL. He will NEVER do anything outside the parameters of His will set forth in His word.
He upholds everything that exists by the word of His power (Heb 1:3)! In other words, if God EVER broke His word, the universe would fall apart.
Just exactly HOW HIGH does God regard His word? He regards His word above His name!!
“I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your word above all Your name.” (Psalm 138:2)
So, if you say amid your situation “I’m just trusting God” or “God is in control” that is NOT biblical faith. In fact, that’s just fatalism.
The question you should ask yourself is “what am I trusting God for?” If you don’t have something you “hope for” based on God’s word, faith can’t be activated. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Heb. 11:1)
Now…this “hope” biblical faith requires MUST be based on God’s word. But…if it IS based on God’s word, from God’s perspective it’s already yours! God isn’t sitting in heaven waiting to see if you’re “worthy” to receive it or not. He’s provided EVERYTHING you need through Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:3)!
But He is waiting on you to be FULLY CONVINCED of His word, even when it contradicts your circumstances, and receive what He’s promised by FAITH. If His word says it, He’s already answered YES! “For all the promises of God in Him (Christ Jesus) are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” (2 Cor. 1:20)
